The Salt Lake Chapter of the Health Physics Society has invited our ANS chapter members to the 2025 John Horan Health Physics Symposium. This symposium is your gateway to explore the often less remembered, but still critically important field of health physics. Delve into the fascinating world of radiation protection and safety, and uncover how it plays a pivotal role in the nuclear industry.

✍️Call for Presentations: It's a bit short notice, but HPS is putting together the symposium agenda and inviting everyone to volunteer to make a presentation. Any topic related to health physics/radiation safety, including program overviews, would be appropriate. Typically, technical presentations are 15-20 minutes each followed by 5 minutes for questions, but they can allow for a longer presentation if necessary. This is a great opportunity for students or early career professionals to get presentation experience in a low-pressure environment.
