Dear ANS University of Utah Chapter Members,

The organizers of the Nuclear Engineering Student Delegation wanted us to remind you of the upcoming application deadline. If you're passionate about nuclear science, engineering, or policy and want to engage in meaningful conversations with policymakers in Washington, D.C., this is your chance! NESD provides an unmatched platform for students to represent their community and advocate for the future of nuclear energy.
Key Details:

• Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students in nuclear science and related disciplines (e.g., engineering, health physics, national security, economics, public policy, etc.).
• Application Deadline: April 12, 2025
• How to Apply: Submit your application at nesd.org. You'll need to complete two short written prompts and submit a resume.
• Delegation Dates: September 21-26, 2025

The delegation is an opportunity to contribute your perspectives, connect with peers, and engage in discussions on the future of nuclear energy and policy with key decision-makers.
