Join us for our final Brave Conversation of the semester – a structured conversation led by trained student facilitators on the topic Is the U Hostile to Students of Faith? All members of the University community are invited to join us for a free lunch and a respectful conversation where the goal is to understand one another – not to persuade, debate, or convince. We’re hoping to bring together a group that is diverse in terms of religious identities – including the non-religious – and in terms of viewpoints on this issue.

According to the 2024 INSPIRES Campus Climate Index, the climate at the University of Utah is better for a variety of religious identities than at the average public university, yet students often report challenges with finding appropriate food, receiving exemptions to observe holidays, and encountering insensitive comments from peers and professors. Come to share your own experience, learn how it compares to your peers, and discuss actions we can take to improve campus climate.

Please RSVP in advance and will be open until 11:59 PM on Nov 17. For any questions, feel free to reach out to Anna at anna.nguyen@utah.edu.
