Saturday Service Projects are events hosted by the Bennion Center intended to support local community organizations through single-day direct engagement efforts. Join students, staff, faculty, and community members in celebration of Earth Month by volunteering with local organizations making positive change happen in our community.

Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area is introducing a new STEP program (Service Team for Exterior Projects). This program allows low-income families to apply for a one-time grant-based project on the exterior of their home. We will typically work on landscaping, fencing, tree removal, yard grating, and more. The families that qualify are individuals who make 80% or less of the Area's Median Income. They are community members who may receive multiple fees and notices from HOA and/or the county about the state of their home but cannot complete the work required due to physical or financial burdens. We want to be able to provide them with a fresh and sustainable start to the exterior of their homes.
