The Analog Photography Club is UAC's first film photography club, established to connect students to learning and experiencing the process of working with old-school analog photography. Focused on the use and development of 35mm film, students will work together to learn how to operate film cameras, find shoot locations, take field trips to historical photographic neighborhoods and camera streets, and develop their own film in a dark room. Through creative exploration, technical learning, and photographic excursions, we aim to cultivate an appreciation for the craft of analog photography.

Character Dance Ensemble (CDE), is a student organization through the University of Utah, studying character, ethnic, folk, historical, and spiritual dances forms from around the world.

It is the mission of the CDE to provide dancers with academic and performance-related opportunities of these dance forms, enrich student experience through travel and cross-cultural interaction, and share our international experience with the University of Utah and greater Salt Lake City community.

Each year upon invitation from international schools and companies CDE travels to study traditional regional dance forms. Since CDE’s establishment in 1995 students have traveled to over fifteen different countries including but not limited to England, China, Spain, Greece, and Ukraine. As a result of each trip, ensemble members inform their study of dance, broaden their perspectives, and enhances their versatility as dancers through the study of local culture, artistic nuances, and authentic dance forms.

Additionally, CDE performs their repertoire and often shares in mutual lecture/demonstrations with local dance companies and/or community presentations. The new material gained from the research tours is added to the CDE repertoire and shared with the Salt Lake City community through local performances and workshops.

Members must be students in the University of Utah's School of Dance and either have/are planning on taking the Character I course during their first year of joining CDE.

Founded in the Summer of 2014, University of Utah Club Swimming was created to form a community based on a mutual love of the sport of swimming. Built on the core values of mutual respect, work ethic, and team spirit, the Club provides competitive swim opportunities to all committed athletes, regardless of ability. Our program has earned national recognition, securing 11th and 9th positions in the country by our fifth and sixth seasons, respectively. Additionally, we take pride in our role as hosts for College Club Swimming's Western Regionals Championship Meet for two consecutive years, along with organizing one of the largest swimming invitationals in the Western United States, the Rocky Mountain Invitational (RMI). As an athlete, you will find a committed group of swim athletes who will push you to succeed in the water. Through the work of highly skilled coaches and an engaging team environment, committed swimmers will excel in the program and continue our fast-growing legacy of national excellence.

The mission of College Republicans at the University of Utah shall be to (a) make known and promote the principles of the Republican Party among members of the University of Utah campus and community, (b) to develop political skills and leadership abilities among Republican students as preparation for future service by them to the Party and community, (c) aid in the election of Republican candidates at all levels of government, and (d) encourage and assist in the organization and active functioning of the Republican Party at local, state, and national levels.

The Cybersecurity Club is for people interested in digital security who enjoy solving problems and competing. We support each other and work as a team to take part in global cybersecurity competitions. Our main goal is to provide a space where members can learn together and use their skills effectively. We will be working on Capture The Flag (CTF) and competing in CTFtime, which organizes weekly certified tournaments. In addition, we will be proving essential websites to boost your skills.

The purpose of this club is to create a welcoming space and supportive community within the business school for students from diverse immigration backgrounds. We aim to help students overcome barriers by sharing resources and opening opportunities to thrive academically and professionally. Our goals include providing guidance to all students, including those with DACA, TPS, various visas, or undocumented status, so they can explore ways to succeed in their careers and educational journeys. We also want to advocate for internship access and build stronger connections with the U of U Dream Center, International Student and Scholar Services, Center for Student Access and Resources, Opportunity Scholars, and Career Coaches to help students apply their degrees after graduation and explore how to start their own businesses.
