The purpose of 3DAC is to create an environment where individuals interested in
various forms of digital 3D art as it relates to games, film and other digital media can
come together to collaborate and communicate. The goal of the club is to encourage
students to create 3D work through knowledge sharing, feedback and collaboration. The
3D Art Club will do this through regularly scheduled challenges, where members will be
prompted to create 3D models of a reference chosen by majority vote of the members.

3D4E at Utah aims to empower students with an interest in the realm of 3D printing and additive
manufacturing with the skills and resources to gain new knowledge irrespective of individual proficiency
levels.

This will be done through:
1. Year long projects that will be worked on by small teams and presented to organization members
throughout the year and other branches of 3D4E at the end of the spring semester. Some projects
will be focused on 3D printing based competitions outside of the organization.
2. Workshops for 3D printing, CAD, 3D scanning, and other relevant technology run by technical
lead officers.
3. Supplying filament, printers, parts, and technical assistance necessary for projects.
4. Collaboration with other organizations and initiatives at the University of Utah that could benefit
from 3D printing proficiency, like labs or student organizations outside of engineering

AI VFX Lab is a student organization focused on exploring visual effects and post-production through both traditional techniques and emerging AI tools. Our mission is to give students practical experience in creating professional-quality visual effects regardless of their previous experience or major.

Members will learn and practice skills such as compositing, object removal and cleanup, rotoscoping, motion tracking, green-screen keying, motion graphics, environment creation, 3D integration, and AI-assisted image and video workflows. Rather than focusing only on generating AI videos, the club will explore how AI can be integrated into established VFX and post-production workflows.

Through workshops, technical experiments, and collaborative projects, members will learn how individual VFX elements are planned, created, refined, and combined into finished shots. Each semester, the club aims to complete at least one collaborative VFX sequence or short-form project that members can use for their portfolios and potentially submit to student showcases or film festivals.

The club will be open to students from all majors and experience levels. Our long-term goal is to create a collaborative environment where students interested in film, animation, design, technology, and AI can learn from one another while developing practical creative and technical skills.

Alpha Chi Omega (ΑΧΩ, also known as Alpha Chi or A Chi O) is a national women's fraternity founded on October 15, 1885 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

In the fall of 1885, Professor James Hamilton Howe, the first Dean of the Music School, invited seven young women from the school to a meeting with the purpose of forming a fraternity. Those young women were Anna Allen Smith, Olive Burnett Clark, Bertha Deniston Cunningham, Amy DuBois Rieth, Nellie Gamble Childe, Bessie Grooms Keenan, and Estelle Leonard. Howe collaborated with James G. Campbell, a Beta Theta Pi, to form a national fraternity. Campbell laid out the first constitution and by-laws. This first constitution read: "The object of this fraternity is as follows: To attain the highest musical culture and to cultivate those principles that embody true womanhood." On February 26, 1886, the fraternity was given its formal introduction by a soiree musical.

The Beta Nu Chapter was founded at the University of Utah March 23, 1934.

The University of Utah Amateur Radio Club is an amateur radio organization dedicated
to fostering technical curiosity, radio experimentation, and community service. Originally
active 30-40 years ago, the club has recently been revitalized by a new generation of
enthusiasts, eager to restore its legacy.
Our mission is to bring new people into the hobby and provide education and opportunities to everyone. We host community events such as our Electrorent-sponsored
campus-wide foxhunt and educational talk, and antenna build days. In recent months, half
of our new, younger, core members have become licensed, a trend we intend to continue
as new students and members join our club. We provide the tooling and resources we
can to encourage continued involvement and interest in the hobby. We actively work
with our members to explore amateur radio, from building antennas to experimenting
with software-defined radios (SDR), to making contacts as a group in order to build
confidence and allow members without appropriate licensing to operate on higher bands
under appropriate supervision from licensed members. Our aim with these projects is to
make the hobby more accessible and engaging. Through workshops, hands-on projects,
and community events, we aim to cultivate a vibrant amateur radio community on campus
and beyond.

Through a structured series of activities, we aim to cultivate a strong foundation in the field of oncology, expose members to diverse oncology-related subspecialties, and create opportunities for meaningful engagement with experts in the field.
One of the central components of the organization is the Journal Club, where members will analyze and discuss clinical cases to enhance their critical thinking skills and deepen their understanding of oncology practice. Additionally, networking events with oncology faculty members on campus will offer students valuable mentorship and insight into career pathways in oncology.
To further bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and clinical practice, we will host guest speaker events that emphasize the clinical aspects of oncology, allowing students to learn directly from experienced physicians and researchers. Hands-on learning will also be a priority, with interactive experiences such as biopsy workshops, suturing sessions, and a procedural series focusing on technological advancements in oncology, all designed to provide practical skills relevant to cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Academic reinforcement will be a key focus, particularly through cancer disease reviews, where we will consolidate and revisit the oncology-related content covered in medical education. This will be especially beneficial for future MS1 students, equipping them with foundational knowledge before they begin their formal studies.

Character Dance Ensemble (CDE), is a student organization through the University of Utah, studying character, ethnic, folk, historical, and spiritual dances forms from around the world.

It is the mission of the CDE to provide dancers with academic and performance-related opportunities of these dance forms, enrich student experience through travel and cross-cultural interaction, and share our international experience with the University of Utah and greater Salt Lake City community.

Each year upon invitation from international schools and companies CDE travels to study traditional regional dance forms. Since CDE’s establishment in 1995 students have traveled to over fifteen different countries including but not limited to England, China, Spain, Greece, and Ukraine. As a result of each trip, ensemble members inform their study of dance, broaden their perspectives, and enhances their versatility as dancers through the study of local culture, artistic nuances, and authentic dance forms.

Additionally, CDE performs their repertoire and often shares in mutual lecture/demonstrations with local dance companies and/or community presentations. The new material gained from the research tours is added to the CDE repertoire and shared with the Salt Lake City community through local performances and workshops.

Members must be students in the University of Utah's School of Dance and either have/are planning on taking the Character I course during their first year of joining CDE.
